How fun is it to see these iconic desert dwellers in Gold Butte? If you haven’t seen them out in the monument, here’s a chance to create your own. Join us on April 25 and we’ll show you an easy technique to create this cute shaggy donkey. Don’t worry if it looks difficult, we will take you through it step by step and you’ll be amazed at the results! You will also have a chance to visit with others and have a snack and a glass of wine! This piece will be a cute addition to any room, and also make a nice gift for someone.

This event will take place at the Friends of Gold Butte visitor center, 12 W. Mesquite Blvd, Suite 106. We will supply snacks, wine and soft drinks, and all painting supplies. If you think you may get messy, bring an apron or old shirt to wear over your clothing.

This is a fundraiser for Friends of Gold Butte, so come and enjoy an evening of fun and creativity, while helping support our good work! All proceeds go to FoGB for operational costs, to enable us to continue our stewardship and educational activities.
