900 Las Vegas Blvd N
Las Vegas, NV, US, 89101
Join the Friends of Gold Butte as we caravan to Las Vegas for a tour of the Las Vegas Natural History Museum! We will participate in a one-hour guided tour of the facility and its numerous exhibits, and then Dr. Steve Rowland will give us a behind-the-scenes tour of his lab, after which you will be able to explore on your own.
We will try and carpool from Mesquite, as much as possible, so if you’re willing to drive others or will need a ride, please let us know when you register. The fee is $5/person, a savings over the regular admission plus you get a guided tour, so it’s a great deal. FoGB will collect the admission fees and pay the facility in one transaction on the day of the event. You may pay at the FoGB office any time prior to the day of the event with a credit card, check or cash. On the day of the event, you will need to pay with a check made to FoGB, or cash.
We ask that you arrive by 12:45 pm at the museum, 900 Las Vegas Blvd North, Las Vegas, NV 89101-1112 so we can enter as a group. We are limited as to the number of people that may tour at a time, so please, if you register and are unable to attend, take yourself off the list so someone else may attend. For more information on the Las Vegas Natural History Museum, please visit their website at lvnhm.org.
