Who doesn’t love a Desert Tortoise?!? Here is a chance for you to create your very own tortoise stepping stone, perfect for your garden or backyard! These are made of precast concrete, and will be a durable addtion to your yard decor. You may paint them “natural” or let your imagination take over and do something wild. The reinforced concrete stones measure approximately 16″ x 13″ and will look great wherever you put them. You will also have a chance to visit with others and have a snack and a glass of wine! This event will fill quickly, so if you register and find that you cannot attend, please, please take yourself off the list so someone from the waitlist may attend.

This event will take place at the Friends of Gold Butte visitor center, 12 W. Mesquite Blvd, Suite 106. We will supply snacks, wine and soft drinks, and all painting supplies. If you think you may get messy, bring an apron or old shirt to wear over your clothing.

This is a fundraiser for Friends of Gold Butte, so come and enjoy an evening of fun and creativity, while helping support our good work! All proceeds go to FoGB for operational costs, to enable us to continue our stewardship and educational activities.
