Have you thought about volunteering with a fun group of local folks who get to spend their time doing stewardship projects, hiking, learning and socializing with others? Or are you one of the “cool, in-the-know Gold Butte veterans” who already do?

Either way, you’ll want to join us and attend this fun, relaxed luncheon with yummy food and friendly people. We will be having a Mexican food buffet, with lots of yummy choices. We’ve done a lot this past year and this is a chance to celebrate our successes and visit with current volunteers in case you’d like to learn more about the organization.

We will meet at the Mesquite Fine Arts Center Classroom, 15 W. Mesquite Blvd., for an afternoon of camaraderie and education, and of course food. Rumor has it that there may be cupcakes as well, so this is a must-do! Come around to the back of the gallery/museum and enter through the classroom.

For those of you who may be coming from further away than Mesquite, consider making a day of it and have a look around Mesquite, maybe check out the Museum or Art Gallery and then hang out with the Friends of Gold Butte for a few hours.
