Spending time outside is good for people, both physically and mentally, so come out with us to beautiful Gold Butte National Monument, where social distancing is easy! Take a break from all the heaviness in our world and do something nice for the environment. Join us for our first trash cleanup of 2021!

We will meet at the Friends of Gold Butte office, 12 W. Mesquite Blvd, Suite 106, caravan to the work site and spend a couple hours picking up trash. Be sure and wear weather-appropriate clothing, closed toed shoes and sunscreen, and bring plenty of water and a snack for yourself.

PPE and social distancing protocol will be followed, and we still aren’t able to offer carpooling due to Covid-19. We’ll be parking along the road, so you won’t need 4WD or even high clearance, if you drive carefully.

As the date gets closer, you’ll get an email with the waiver included to be printed out and filled in beforehand, to reduce personal contact. If you’re unable to print it, I will have a few extra. FoGB will provide buckets and trash bags, but please bring your own gloves and wear clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty.
