The good news is, you can learn the basics in your own backyard, and without large telescopes or dark skies. Jim Stanger with Friends of Sloan Canyon will introduce us to backyard astronomy with tips & tricks to navigate the night sky, gear needed to get started, and what to do if you want to take your viewing to the next level.
