Join the Friends of Gold Butte As Troy Scotter presents “The Rock Art of Utah.” Troy is a Canadian who got lost in the Utah desert, found a Barrier Canyon panel, and never went back north. He is the past President of the Utah Rock Art Research Association and currently serves as their Conservation and Preservation Chair. He is also on the Board of the American Rock Art Research Association. He doesn’t know much about rock art outside of Utah, but is always happy to talk about what he has seen in that State. This presentation will provide an overview of who lived in Utah, where, and when along with some examples of their rock art styles.
