Are you curious about Gold Butte National Monument? Do you like to hike and explore but maybe don’t want to go by yourself, at least at first? Do you want to know what Friends of Gold Butte is all about? Are you looking for a place to volunteer? Well, here’s your chance to satisfy your curiosity AND have a snack and a beverage AND hang out with some really cool people!

Friends of Gold Butte is having an Open House at our visitor center to celebrate our “March Match 2024” Fundraising Campaign! Our Board of Directors will match all donations we receive during the month of March up to a total of $9,000! Since we operate entirely on grants and donations, this is a significant fundraiser for us, so if you’d like to support FoGB, this is an opportunity to make your donation go twice as far. (You don’t have to donate to attend the Open House, so come on down and join the fun!)

Our office is located at 12 W. Mesquite Blvd, Suite #106, right across the parking lot from City Hall. We will be open extended hours on Tuesday, and the Open House will run from 1:00pm until 6:00pm, with free snacks and drinks being served. You don’t need to register to attend, just stop by and say hello!
