“Wild Utah” Friends of Gold Butte Speaker Series

September 19 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Welcome to the first speaker event in the 2018-2019 series! We proudly present “Wild Utah” for your information and enjoyment.

The redrock canyon country of southern Utah is one of most stunningly beautiful landscapes on this planet, containing spectacular geologic formations, amazing cliff dwellings and rock art of ancient peoples, and world class hiking, climbing, rafting and biking.

Join us as Terri Martin of the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance presents a short video and shows stunning images of Utah’s redrock and tells the story of the citizens’ campaign to protect this priceless part of our natural heritage. She will also provide an inside update about the continuing efforts to defend and restore Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monuments.

Doors open at 6:15, presentation begins at 7:00 pm. Free and open to the public, although donations are always appreciated.
